Join our Sub Aqua Group for a lecture on Antarctica by Ffion Mitchell from Ocean Ambassadors. The talk will involve an insightful introduction into Antarctica and the Southern Ocean; the most unique and undiscovered continent in the world.
Topics will include why Antarctica is so environmentally valuable; an update on current world-leading research in Antarctica and the Southern Ocean, and the threats Antarctica faces and the small actions we can take.
The lecture is happening at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, London on Tuesday 19 February, 6.30pm for 7.00pm start.
Following the lecture, a two-course meal with Club wine will be served for members in the Seagrave Room from 8.00pm.
