Rewilding land, sea and people

  • London United Kingdom (map)

Join us on 25th February at 7pm for a live discussion and Q&A on why the rewilding movement is offering hope for humanity, climate and biodiversity.

Sean McCormack from AgRewild will be hosting the conversation and will be joined by Felix Appelbe, founder of Ocean Ambassadors, and Cal Major, founder of Paddle Against Plastic. We’ll be exploring the perspectives of these passionate conservationists on what rewilding means to them, and how it can be applied to farming practices, protecting the ocean or indeed our own lives.

During the webinar there’ll be a couple of short presentations where we’ll outline the practical and ideological aspects of rewilding, how it applies to farmers, landowners and the oceans and how people can adopt some rewilding thinking into their own lives.

We will end with a live Q&A.

Rewilding Woodcock

We’ll also be premiering a short film showing how one farmer’s outlook on his land at Woodcock Farm has changed over the years: from the agricultural revolution to gradually allowing nature to return to the farming process. ‘Rewilding Woodcock’ is beautifully symbolic of the changes we are seeing in many landowners, a desire to let nature flourish where once it was suppressed.
